About the White Rose Leadership Institute

York Federal Fellows

The White Rose Leadership Institute’s mission is to support nonprofit leaders! We want to improve the long-term sustainability of nonprofit leaders and their organizations by offering fundraising opportunities, the highest quality programs, consultation and mentorship, training, opportunities for collaboration and community-building networks.

Our Mission Statement: To aid and support York County, PA charitable nonprofit organizations so they may expand their capacity and develop and improve of their leadership by providing training, tools, resources and technical assistance and at no charge or at a substantially reduced rate (based upon the organization’s ability to pay) so that such organizations can achieve a greater impact in the community and more effectively and efficiently deliver the goods or services envisioned by its specific charitable mission and purpose.

Through our signature fundraising event, Give Local York, the largest day of giving in York County, PA, we help hundreds of nonprofits raise unrestricted funds and connect with new donors, all while providing training and support on storytelling, marketing, donor engagement and stewardship.

The White Rose Leadership Institute also offers the York Federal Fellowship, a fellowship program in nonprofit leadership that strives to strengthen the ability of experienced nonprofit executives to lead their organization for greater community impact.

As a vision of the York Federal Fellows Program, the White Rose Leadership Institute offers a variety of professional and leadership development opportunities created exclusively for nonprofit executives. These unique programs leverage valuable curriculum by forging strong peer support networks.
